Zabljak with Kids

My wife and I have visited Zabljak several times, but this year we're thinking of taking our children there for the first time (ages 8, 3 and 3). If we decide to go, we'll be there in late July.

What are some good things to do in/aroud Zabljak with kids that age? (They're too young for rafting, and the 3-year-olds can't hike very far.)

Thanks!

You can obviously take them to Crno Jezero (Black Lake) they can spend time playing around the lake, if you are brave enough to let have a swim this is also an option.

It may sound strange but you can generally go fruit/vegetable picking around parts of Zabljak (we went mushrooms picking yesterday)! In the summer time there are strawberries and blackberries everywhere which you can eat just off the trees (with a little wash).

Just around the city there are shepherds with wildlife, cows, sheep, goats etc, and they are generally friendly so you can get the kids to see and play with the animals.

If you have a car the best thing would be to drive to a wonderful spot, have a picknic and let the kids explore. Sedlo is fantastic for this as it is in a valley so you are away from the "city" and there are lakes etc to explore.
