Hope this helps:
Most people pay 30 euros that also includes a small tip for the driver.
Yer back mate so time to sober up and stop falling over LOL
What about the return trip? is it just a question of giving all relevant return information to the taxi driver when he drops you off -- i.e. pick up time from your hotel / apartments?
You'll have no problem getting back all drivers carry their own business contact details or your hotel will phone one for you.
Cheers Pete just relaxing on the settee now and gently deflating after the copious amount of eating and drinking over the last few weeks. Hospital did a great job stitching me up but I'll always have a permanent reminder above my right eyebrow of the June 2015 tumble in Alykanas. It actually happened in the apartment where I tripped over my flip flops landing head first on the wooden bedpost but I knew nothing about it at the time l.o.l.
As Mondeo1 said, zero problems with taxis. We have just returned from Danny's. Both drivers there & back were lovely, speak excellent English, no rip offs. I think it was 30 euros each way plus we gave a generous tip.
The thought of piling on a heaving coach plus rather a large amount of young babies / children, is not what we wanted to do. The coach left at around 9.15 this morning, our taxi arrived around 10, & arrived at the airport before them. 60+ euros is a lot if you are on a tight budget but for us.....Bliss! Plus I'm sure your son & wife will benefit from the A/C in the car & no hassle trying to get your luggage, pushchair etc etc off the coach as you will go straight into the airport. Enjoy!
Oops, should have said partner/husband/wife! Too many Mythos, dry white wines, cocktails......
Thanks so much guys.
Can't wait :)
