Have you tried using Google Flights for searching? From another forum Emirates had best prices in a sale. Or try NetFlights.com

A quick look on Expedia shows finnair £475 and Emirates from £521 from Manchester to Bkk.Seems pretty reasonable to me.

What price were you expecting?

Thanks I will take a look fly to Bangkok then onto Phuket, Expedia let us down a few years ago do reluctant to use them again, Expedia have flight to Phuket for about £500 but return flight seems strange, Phuket to Singapore then Singapore to Dubai then onto Manchester abut 22 hours as well

Why book with a 3rd party agent ?

Just over £500 to Bangkok is good for January,

I paid £507 direct with Emirates on the 28 April 2018 for an Emirates flight NCL - SIN on 4 Jan 2019, return BKK - NCL on the 20 Feb 2019

I have been looking for fare to Thailand in April, they are quite a bit more than I normally pay. I go 3 times a year.

I read on line in the last few weeks that airline such as Qantas are increasing or not discount fares as much. Yes the AUD is a little weaker against the USD. However I am putting this down to the price of Oil .
