I've read comments about how great the free guided walking tour of Asakusa but have no idea how to join one? I did one years ago at Himeji Castle and it was fabulous. Such a pleasant knowledgeable young man, so happy to show us his beautiful castle... How can I find out how to join a similar tour in Asakusa.
I joined the one at Asakusa myself and also the one at Ueno. I was moved with the guides' love of the area of each guide.
I’m trying to find an evening street food tour in the Asakusa area at the end of May but I’m travelling on my own and most of the tours ask for a minimum of two people or, they offer private tours that I don’t really want and are very expensive. I’d rather join a small random sociable group if possible. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.
