Currency & Wind

Can anyone tell me if it's best to take US dollars off the local currency when I visit Aruba in Aug please.

I'm also reading that it's super windy there too, is the wind cold or just a nice welcome breeze? and will I need a light jacket for the evening?

Thanks

We just back from Aruba. Dollars are best to take. It’s mega windy but hot as well so welcome relief from the heat. Take towel clips for sunbeds we took eight clips with us four for each bed.

I just take a shrug to cover my shoulders in the restaurants with AC. The wind is welcome. Also, the sun is very intense so bring lots of sunscreen and apply often.

I packed a light jacket and never came close to using it even once. Nights stay quite warm. Closest maybe was at a casino, where the AC was pumping.

Don't forget the sunscreen. If you get burned buy the aloe there it works wonders.
