Looking to book Divi Dutch Village

Just wondering how far the walk is from DDV to the buffet restaurant at the Tam? Just wondering if it gets tiresome for the kids. How often/convenient are the shuttles?

This question may have been asked before, but if you are not staying at DDV as part of a timeshare, do you have access to the pool with the water slide at Divi Golf?

Thanks in advance!

There are 3 phases to the Divi Dutch Village. Each phase has it's own pool with about 35 units around it. Since you won't know which phase you will be in unless you are renting from an owner, it is impossible to say how far you will be from the buffet. The closest phase would be about a 3 - 5 minute walk, adding a couple of minutes with each farther phase. They do have a shuttle you can call for to pick you up and some times you can just catch one going by. If you are staying at the Divi Dutch Village I think you will be able to use the pool at the Divi Village with the slide. But that is a much longer walk and for that I would call for a shuttle. You would have to walk across the road first, then on to the Divi Village property and then to the pool. I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the info. We have decided that we want to do AI and definitely want to stay at DDV but didn’t know if the distance would be a point to reconsider.

The Tam buffet is part of the all inclusive. If you do not have the all inclusive plan you can still purchase vouchers for meals at the Tam and Divi Aruba however they are expensive.

The buffet across the street at Divi Village Seabreeze Cafe is far less costly.

It is quicker to walk than to wait for the panther (shuttle).
