I believe the poster is from the UK. So really this question of who to book through needs to be addressed to fellow countrymen. There is not a bad month to go to Aruba. Rainy season is Oct/Nov.

I know most British travelers prefer all-inclusive. Of all the nice folks we’ve met from the UK, 99% traveled with Thomson’s/First Choice. The Tamarijn and Divi are popular with families.
