Will my google maps work on my android phone (verizon)? Have already downloaded MAPS.ME to my phone but world prefer to use google maps for navigation if possible.

I just loaded the Aruba Map onto my phone in Offline setting. Others on here have said that is how to do it without using Data.

I used the same, google maps offline and never had a issue. My battery lasted longer that way too.

There are many offline-maps apps that you can download. They do not require data to operate, as the maps are stored on the phone itself. I have used these in many countries and they are great. They don't use expensive international data, and they reduce battery usage by not needing to use the radio.
