Yes, July is hot and relatively dry as the humidity charastic of August has not fully set in.
This chart shows that July is a shoulder month between the two rainy periods: https:/…12312486_f520.jpg
Are you traveling as a family with children un 18 years old or an adult couple?
It is hot but we like it.
The Bahia complex is large with the two resorts (family and adult sections) totally some 1365 rooms; the family section is the larger section (840 rooms).
It is nicely located to the prime touristic attractions such as Dunn's River Falls, Mystic Mountain, Green Grotto Caves. It is in (well, near) the town of Runaway bay which is not known for its higher-end shopping (if that is of interest), so taking a taxi to Ocho Rios is recommended for that activity.
If you are interested in an Adults only resort in the same area (Runaway Bay), I suggest you have a look at the Jewel Paradise Cove.Edited: 16 September 2018, 00:15
Thank you, I will 😉☀️
The grand bahia has an adult side..the luxury bahia...same property. The resort is great...we have been here multiple times and will return this year. The weather will be hot and may have a chance of rain on a daily basis...but it will be a small chance. My info is from being there...not off a website like some you have received.
Yes, the Bahai resort does have an adult section with adult-only facilities (buffet, two a la carte eateries), beach, pool. And there are shared facilities, too, such as watersports, spa, gym, tennis, evening shows, eateries (except for the family buffet eatery), bars, beaches (family & nude), shopping, waterpark, casino, beach bars, beach grills, family pools.
Thanks everyone for your advice, pleased to hear it should be hot, and relatively dry! Honest opinions please, is it worth paying the extra for the adult side? I don't mind kids being around! 😉
