Rooms at GBP

We are going to the GBP next month and curious about the rooms. We are booked with the Royal Golden package so we will be in Building 18. Does anyone recommend certain rooms in that building? What would the room numbers be for the rooms that are ocean front?

Thanks for your help!

Unless you are lucky you cant prepick you room.

When you get to desk, right away ask to seee where it is on map before agreeing and taking key.

Building is like a 'U' with the top of left 'U' being 18.....only so many balconies on front, so others in 18 would be seeing 1km nicer beach and ocean and other side ocean to right, gazebo at rocky beach and part of pool. So not too back either way.

What you dont want is further down on left part of 'U' which is where the shopping plaza is the Pueblo Principe. Yes you get 1km beach and ocean but you would also get shopping building below and can be noisy and actually not nice to look at if you are a balcony sitter.

The rooms at the very very end of building 18 face the ocean but also of the fishermans restaurant and the roof of the beach snack bar..just to let you be aware of this. I would pick a room at the end of 18 on the right hand side of the hall that still has a great view of the ocean but facing the pool. My opinion this would be a better view because you see the ocean, pool and the whole hotel, very pretty! Sorry, it was over a year ago when we went and i dont recall the room numbers but 3rd to 5th floor in this area would be good.
