Gran Bahia Principe Runaway Bay - Last Minute Questions

Hi Everyone,

Do you recall if the Gran Bahia Jamaica has irons in the rooms. Also, is the mini bar in the room a small refrigerator? Finally, were you able to purchase any type of phone cards to call to the USA. We are packing now. Will be on the plane in 24 hours!!! Thanks

In January there was an iron in our room.

The Fridge is a small fridge. There is suppose to be beer in it (at least 3) water (3). My kids had water and beer in theirs but we only had 1 unknown beer and 1 water and I had to get water from bar and bring it to my room after asking nicely for a couple of days.

They do have a small sundries store in hotel and in shopping plaza to get stuff but remember it is expensive.

Dont know about phone card. We are from Toronto and brought cells but are 'real' cell users so when we did use it, it was not that much on bill when we came home. Have fun

the person who stocks the fridge is not the maid. So leave a tip in the fridge and you will notice a big difference in what you receive. We got free bottles of rum and all the beer we could drink.
