St. Thomas lodging before a sailboat charter?

Several couples will be travelling to the BVI's to catch a catamaran charter next April. We will be flying in to St. Thomas and will need to stay the night before catching the ferry over to Tortola the next day. Any suggestions on a hotel/condo which would be close to the ferry and not too pricey either? Thank you.

I would look into either the Best Western Emerald Beach or the Island Beachcomber. They are right next to each other on a beautiful stretch of beach. They are about 1/4 mile from the airport (no...noise is not a problem) and about an 8 minute taxi ride to the Charlotte Amalie ferries over to Tortola. Both also have a restaurant and beach bar on site!

Windward Passage right on the waterfront across from the ferry - Villa Olga a bit farther but walkable to the ferry dock - Crystal Palace , above town but likely the owner will get you to the ferry dock - the 2 hotels mentioned are on the beach if you have to spend any day time in STT, close to the airport but a taxi to the ferry.

Thanks for the suggestions! We will only have about a half a day in St. Thomas so don't know how much beach time we will get, but a pretty location is always nice!
