It is under two hours on the main road from Digby to Yarmouth. However you should take the more interesting side road:

I would allow at least three hours to get to the airport. Then you need time to return your car plus the normal time to allow for a flight. https://goo.gl/maps/xX9M8ejQLUT2

It's a lovely drive on Rte 1 from Digby to Yarmouth. The route follows through several small Acadian villages along the St Mary's Bay.

Church point is a nice stop, where you'll find the largest wooden church in North America.

A little further on Mavillette Beach is a wonderful place to take a walk.

Then in Yarmouth, you will find lots of things to see & do, including a visit to the lighthouse.

It would save you time if you visited the Tourist Information Centre in Digby the day before to get some information for your day trip. Also, it would be quicker to return to Digby by Hwy 101.
