I am considering vacationing in Quebec City but I am concerned about flooding problems. I live near Lake Ontario and we have had terrible problems with flooding and I have heard that Quebec is also having problems. Is there an area I should avoid or has the flooding resolved? Thank you for any help you can give.

1. Re: Flooding

No flooding in Quebec City. Most of the flooding was in suburban Montreal, and most of that has abated now.

Most of Quebec City is on a cliff above the river so you would have to try to get to a flooded areas rather then the other way around.
