Is the water safe to make tea and coffee from the tap or will I need to buy bottled water?

.. I as well always get bottled water on all the isles.. but keep in mind chances are it'll be good old tap water if ordering a coffee at a cafe.. same with ice in your drinks;-) EnJOY!

We buy bottled water for drinking but use tap water for tea & coffee, reckon if it's boiled should be ok. No problem in many Greek destinations & also here now in Skiathos.

We used the local wells (found in the Streets) for our hot drinks, never had a problem but take bottled water to the beaches.

The taps in town are from a chlorinated supply, independent of the main system.

Thanks for all your advise. I think that I'll use it for tea and coffee and buy bottled water to drink. Off early tomorrow for two weeks in the sun.

With 6 large bottles costing just 2-2.50 euro we always use bottled water
