Itinerary for 1 day

We plan on checking out the following with kids from 2-5 years of age.

mercury mine walking trail – midland provincial park and the Royal Tyrell meuseum

the little church

Bleriot ferry on Dinosaur Trail

horsethief canyon

hoodo trail

rosedale suspension bridge

Is there a picnic spot with tables close to the Tyrell meuseum?

With very young kids, you will likely be traveling at a pretty slow pace with lots of stops for food, washrooms, rest etc. So, I'd probably trim this list down or at least pick a few things to prioritize. You may be able to do more, but I would start with a less ambitious plan.

The Royal Tyrell Museum should be first, though it may not be as much of interest to the very youngest. They do have some fun activities and the dinos are always cool. As I remember, there are places to picnic. If not, maybe head over to see the giant dino and picnic in that area.

Then head out to other activities in the afternoon - see what you have the time and energy to do.
