Bus 405 from Oban to Dunstaffnage Castle

Hi.

I might be coming to Oban in the next few weeks, will just have 1 full day spare, thought I might go to Dunstaffnage Castle, can you please tell me how far/time it will take to walk there once I get off the 405 bus at Dunbeg please. Is there walking around the castle/grounds/park & is it worth it to go, or any other suggestions for my 1 free day on a bus or train.

Would have liked to have gone to Mull, but at this time of year what is open over there and how do I get there once off the ferry as I am on foot?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Regards

As far as I can recall it's about 20 minutes walk from the main road to the Castle at Dunstaffnage.

If you cross to Mull on the ferry you can catch a bus to Tobermory, or to Fionnphort and then cross to Iona.
