What bus do i need to catch to get from Manchester Airport to Manchester Coach Station and how much woud it be roughly?

Hi,

I'm assuming you mean Chorlton Street bus station?

You're probably best getting a train from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly. Chorlton Street bus station is about a 5 minute walk from Piccadilly. There's also a free bus from the station that has a stop close by Chorlton Street, but unless you've got luggage that makes it akward to walk, walking is probably the way to go.

There are several trains an hour from the airport to Piccadilly. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk will give you details.

Thanks yes it is Chorlton st i will get the train to piccadilly then walk i am only travelling with hand luggage.

Cool.

Out of the main exit/entrance at Piccadilly. Cross the pedestrian bridge on your left. Walk along the side of the Mint hotel. Cross the tram lines and the road. Walk down Canal Street (pedestrian street) for about 100 or so meters. Turn right onto Chorlton Street and the bus station is about 30 metres on your left!
