Lyon Part Dieu to hotel

Taking Rhone express from airport and staying at the Carlton Lyon Hotel, 4 Rue Jussieu. Should we just take taxi or uber from the train station? If so, do you know approximate cost? I'm not finding any better option. Thanks!

Take Rhonexpress tram to Vaulx en Velin La Soie, no need to go to Part-Dieu. At this stop you'll have an easy metro connection, direct line A to Cordeliers and your hotel is just a 4' walk.

Itinerary proposed by Only_Lyon is the cheapest option. A taxi from Part-Dieu to your hotel will cost 10-15 euros during the day depending on the traffic and luggage. More after 19h. There are taxi ranks on both exits from the station. At the main exit, Vivier Merle there is usually a waiting line, but it moves quickly. At the eastern exit taxis are usually ready available.

I can't seem to find transit directions from Vaulx en Velin La Soie to our hotel. Since we will be traveling for over 18 hours we may pay a little more for convenience. It looks like Uber is almost half the cost of taxi. They are reliable here in US, how are they in Lyon? Thanks!
