Assistance finding best route via train and metro in Lyon

Hi,

I need help finding the best way to get from the airport in Lyon to the Apart'hotel Lyon Lumiere via train and metro. I'm thinking take the train to Part-Dieu and then hopping the D line on the metro to Monplaisir...is this correct? Thanks for any suggestions. (I'm also assuming I can pick up the metro at the Part-Dieu station...)

You would take the Rhone Express tram (not train) to Lyon Part Dieu station. Then take Metro Line B towards Stade de Gerland for two stations, getting off at Saxe-Gambetta. Take Metro Line D towards Gare de Venissieux, getting off at either Saans Souci or Monplaisir-Lumiere. See the map of Lyon transport at transitmap.net/post/19341712751/tcl-lyon

As I recall, you have to go through Part Dieu station to get from the Rhone Express to the Metro.
