Füssen to Hohenschwangau

Can anyone tell me the best way to transfer from Füssen to Hohenschwangau? Is there a bus line? How much would a taxi cost? Thank you !

There is a bus that will be right outside the train station. If you are traveling on a Bayern ticket, the fare will be included in the Bayern ticket. Otherwise the fare is 1.40. I Think the taxi ride is about 10 Euro.

Bus schedules and fares can be found at:

http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en

From: Füssen Bahnhof

To: Hohenschwangau, Schwangau (Schlösser)

The bus stop is the yellow circle H shown on this map:

It is a slight uphill walk from the Bus stop to the Ticket Center.

Will we be able to bring luggage onto the bus? Or is it more advisable to take a cab?

Yes, you can take luggage on the bus. There are also luggage lockers in Fuessen but not in Hohenschwangau.
