PUERTO AZUL swimming pool

Hi, thinking of going to Marbella for next years holidays. Was wondering what size the pool is at Puerto AZUL? Rough measurements. Or would we be better trying the Skol apartments. Just myself to and teenage daughter.

Thanks in advance

The pool is a bit on the small side at the Puerto Azul, whereas the Skol has three pools, one quite big one just for grown ups, so if pools are a priority then the Skol would perhaps be the better choice. I haven't actually stayed at the Azul, although it looks very nice, but I usually stay at the Skol or at the Parque building just across the way near the park. The Parque has wonderful large swimming pools, for photographs take a look at the website of Linglyn Travel who I book apartments through every year.

Thank you KikLondon. Some of the apartments at the Skol look good. I was looking at 117a, would it b too close to ground and would it be safe. Also what about sunbed situation in late August. Also are there takeaways near the Skol for one or two evenings.

Hello, pool at Azul is not the biggest for sure and really only space for a few beds if you wish to be in the sun. However, the aparthotel itself is wonderful, clean, friendly and really excellent value for money.

And, a very short walk to the beach where 2 beds and a parasol were 12 euros for the day this summer.

You are in restaurant and take away heaven if you stay at either the Azul or Skol, and there's also a supermarket about a five minute stroll away to stock up on groceries and drinks etc. There are kitchens in each apartment, although as I say there is every kind of eatery from tasty tapas to Chinese, to pizza to Indian, to casual beach chiringuitos right on the sand to high end dining with live singers ie Beckitts to tempt you out, all right on your doorstep! Apartments such as 117 will be on the first floor at the Skol, and should be as safe as anywhere I would imagine, I stayed on the top floor (8th) at the Skol and the view was breathtaking, although I couldn't sit out on the balcony as it was too vertigo inducing for me! For more advice speak to Daniela at Linglyn Travel, she speaks excellent English and can suggest an apartment to suit your requirements at the Skol or Parque building.

Thanks all.

KikLondon, thanks for you replies. I am in the process of booking an apartment at Skol with Daniela. You will probably be fed up of my questions between now and next August. Thanks again
