Yes, there is a pedestrianised avenue called the Paseo de Born, a popular place for a stroll off the promenade, which goes from Plaza Reina, near the Cathedral, up to the city centre, lots of shops including Zara along here; but the main shopping area is pedestrianised and quite large. its to be found at the top of the Born, by turning into the narrow streets on your right as you walk up it. Or, alternatively, walk along the main street til you get to steps leading up to Plaza Mayor, the big square, and you will find shopping streets leading off in all directions from Plaza Mayor.

Get hold of a street map from the tourist office or your hotel, its actually quite difficult to describe!

All shops close on Sunday, apart from cafes and restaurants.

Also, you could just go to the Porti Pi shopping centre and you've got all the high street shops on 3 floors, all in the same building. The Porto Pi is at the very end of the Paseo Marítimo in Palma.
