Water Taxi Luggage Limits

In researching water taxis for Venice there appears to be a 1 piece of luggage limit per person and also a size limit. Some water taxi companies address this and some don't. Some say its strictly adhered to. Does any one know the suitcase size limit? What have others experiences been with this.

Generally any case with wheels is deemed as luggage. If you have 10 people all with 23kg bags it will not all fit. 10 cabin cases on wheels probably will. So a happy medium of say 4 big and 4 small is about right. Not all taxis have the sme luggage space. Cost wise up to 4 are included in the base rate then it about €5 every item afterwards.

Thank you. It seems 1 piece of luggage per person is the standard. I've read they could not allow you on a water taxi unless it's a certain size but I've not been able to find what that size 8s.
