Electric converter for Venice and cruise ship?

Hello! We will be in Venice staying at an apartment for two days before our cruise on the Rhapsody (Royal Carribbean). Does anyone have an amazon link to a converter that we can use to charge or cell phones and or my curling iron? thank you!

The cell phones have a built in currency converter in the plug, but you will need a wall adaptor for Italy.

Your curlers will need an electric converter Amazon: BestekUniversal Travel Adaptor 220 to 110. It includes the wall adaptor also. $39.99

The ship has 110 outlets and also 220.

Heating implements should not be used unless they are designed for the current. The converters are not safe especially for implements like curling irons. Get a duel voltage model or pick one up in Europe designed for their currency. I once shut down the power of an entire wing of a hotel using a converter with a hair dryer.

A voltage converter costing $40 will not be able to handle a curling iron, and will likely cause the problems described by Janet. A model able to handle a high power device would be the size and weight of a brick, and cost around $400. Get a cheap curling iron in Italy.
