We're a mid 20s couple who loves food and beaches. We want to spend between 7 and 10 days in Sicily this end of July so we wanted to ask what would be a good itinerary considering we won't be renting a car.
We will be landing in Palermo and flying back from Trapani. I was once in Cefalu and I know it's a charming town but also very touristic so I wouldn't mind skipping it if there are better alternatives. Marsala is on the list just because of the wines there. Is Marsala a town worth visiting or should we skip it?
The main focus of the trip is lying on the beach relaxing, not much visiting. What are the beaches not to miss in this part of Sicily?
