Request recommendations for first timer at Switzerland

Planning to visit Switzerland next May end (myself with husband). Will be staying for 6days and 5nights. After some reading a rough itinerary has been made. Please tell me is this too much or can be doable? Should we cut/include something?

Day1- flying to Zurich from London. Transfer to Engelberg through Luzern (short couple of hrs tour at Luzern) and head to Engelberg. Night at Engelberg.

Day2- Excursion to Mt.Titlis

Night at Engelberg

Day3- Heading to Wengen or Murren through Interlaken (short couple of hrs tour at Interlaken). Night at Wengen/Murren

Day4- Excursion to Schilthorn

Day5- Excursion to Jungfraujoch

Day6- Explore Wengen/Murren.

Head to Zurich

Night flight back home.

Among Wengen and Murren which one should we choose as the base?

How can Swiss travel card help us in such itinerary.

Your advices will be of great use for us. Waiting for valued reply. Thanks in advance.

I like your itinerary; likely go with Wengen; I prefer Murren but, it's much more quiet and a little more time is incurred when visiting things from Murren.

Enjoy your trip.

Can you recommend some good accommodation at Murren? We are couple who want just a basic with ensuit shower, toilet and a balcony which will provide good view.

We prefer Wengen. Just as good views. More central location for exploring the area. Hardly basic requirements See:- muerren.swiss/en/summer/#see-and-do

I like Hotel Alpina in Murren; any 3 start in Murren is very nice. Book hotel early, these hotels book rooms/get full 8-10 months out from arrival.

Enjoy.

Any hotel recommendation in Wengen. Would prefer rooms where we can cook our own food.

Hotel sporting cooking on your own is not likely going to happen; that will require some special research on your part. AirBnB?

Thanks a ton to all of you who read this and helped me with a answer. One more question: As I am researching more and more questions are coming in my mind, is it worth to visit Lugano? Is that a beautiful place? Should I increase one more day and visit Lugano also?
