All the terminal information is available here: https:/…terminal-information

For Oslo information check the Visit Oslo website: https://www.visitoslo.com/

The HOHO bus in Oslo is 315 NOK when booked in advance through the operator (https:/…)

The best scenery will be the first two hours after departure from Copenhagen (until after Kronborg "Hamlet" castle and the last 2-3 hours before arrival Oslo and v.v.. Mobile reception onboard is very poor, even if your are at the deck. DFDS charges 120 DKK for wifi access 20 h.

Prices for food and beverages on board are quite hign. Buffet 200 DKK, typical pizzas 130 - 150 DKK. "Duty Free" prices are mostly higher than Danish shop prices, especially for alcoholic products, due to the extremely high alcohol prices in Norway.

In Oslo, an organised tour would be better, if you want to see places like Holmenkollen or the (old) Munch museum, while the city center is fine to walk. Alternatively use public transportation easy accessible by the app "RuterBillett", which work perfectly well with (most) foreign credit cards.

NOK and DKK - but as far as I can remember change is given in DKK (must be decades since I last used cash on any of these ferries) - so just like in Denmark and Norway just use your credit or debit card (saves lugging around on the loose change).

We did this trip about 10 days ago.

Unless you are staying somewhat near the Little Mermaid and have little luggage, you need to take transportation. There is a bus. We took bus 26 but I am not sure if there are others depending on where you pick it up. At this time, the bus only takes cash. I believe it was 24 DKK each but check.

The ship is fine, actually like a cruise ship. We were there early and let on but left our luggage with customer service as our room was not available till 3 pm. We were fortunate to have fabulous weather so we were outside quite late. There is a pool and hot tub which is about 50 DKK. If you want to gamble it is another 50 DKK just to walk into the casino. Everything costs. They don't even want to give out drinking water. We found the food not great. If you are on a budget, bring most of your food. And bring your bottle water filled. Also we had no soap in the shower so bring one of those little hotel soaps with you. We enjoyed the trip. When you get off in Oslo, it is an easy walk to the central station and there are signs. Hotels are most likely within walking distance unless you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage.
