Crossing bridge to Malmo

We will be arriving in Copenhagen airport, hiring a car and travelling to Halmstad, crossing the bridge to Malmo. I read the toll is about £38 - is this correct and is that for one way or a return journey?

Also, do you pay at the toll gate and do they take credit cards or is it better with cash? Thanks in advance for answers.

Check out prices for car hire in Malmo also. There is a very frequent train service from Copenhagen Airport to Malmo. Saving you the expense of the bridge toll. Train tickets are 88 DKK per adult (144 DKK for a family ticket - 2 adults and up to 3 children).

There are both manned toll booths and machines on the brudge. Manned booths accept cash (SEK, DKK and EUR) while the machines accept VISA, VISA electron, Maestro, MasterCard, MasterCard Direct, EuroCard, Diners Club, American Express, Dankort, JCB, Bankkort (Sparbanken), Rikskort samt benzinkort fra Shell, Statoil, OK/Q8, Q8, YX Energi, Uno-X Energi, Metax, Routex, DKV and UTA.

Toll fare is 335 DKK (approx. £37 according to Google) per crossing.
