In a week I will be Iceland driving to Kerlingarfjoll and Landmannalaugar to camp and hike. I am curious what the usual high and low temperatures are in the second half of June. I have experience camping in sub freezing temperatures (camped a few nights at -5C in Montana) so I'm not worried about it being too cold.
Are the temperatures fairly constant in a 24 hour period given the constant daylight?
What's the coldest it can get in the highlands?
Is the wind equally powerful in the middle of the country as it is on the coasts?
