Toboggan run at Korketrekkeren

This sounds like a great deal of fun! Is there snow on the ground consistently in February so that we could plan on going on a particular day? We saw that there is also a restaurant nearby - Frognerseteren Restaurant and Cafe - Is it casual enough that you could take a break and have a nice lunch or dinner and resume sledding, or is it fancier than that?

Thanks for your input!

You never know when the spring arrives, but usually (and right now) there are a lot of snow in Oslo in February, and we're expecting more this weekend - and cold temperature also next week. So it looks like the snow will stay for a while.

The restaurant at Frognerseteren is actually divided into to sections. Restaurant Finstua (to the left) is more fancy. Kafé Seterstua (to the right) is casual, and most people there are wearing a ski outfit at this time of year. Very traditional Norwegian arcitecture and food. And a nice view as well when the sun is shining.
