There's a coastal path all the way from West Shore via Deganwy so you don't have to walk on the road until you reach the bridge to cross over to Conwy. The problem at present is that the section of the path between West Shore and Deganwy is buried beneath deep sand drifts so it's quite a challenge to walk along, you might find it easier to walk on the beach instead. Also a section of the promenade in Deganwy was very badly damaged by storms last year and is still being repaired so it's currently something of a building site. Hopefully the path will be cleared and the promenade fully repaired in time for the summer. I'd maybe allow an hour and a half as things stand but a bit less once the path is cleared. Alternatively you could walk along the road to Deganwy and then join the coastal path there.
