Appalling food and service! We were a table of 11 out for christmas carvery in early December, when we had to ask for our pre-ordered meal to be served, the soup was cold and the "be careful the plates are hot" were cold too. The soup was nuked in the microwave and then we took ourselves off to the carvery, waited for the 'chef' person to eventually come out of the kitchen who proceded to take the skin off the turkey crown to reveal the mummification remains of a once juicy bird. The rock hard, dried up bit of beef the size of a lump of coal and the pork crackling were the other meats on offer....they had no more meat we were told. So we all decided to leave the restaurant (if you can call it that) and had our money refunded. We were not the only large party to walk out having not paid, another group left 30 minutes before us!

No keep well away, we visited it today, a party of 6 , the food was awful, cold, service awful, 2 ordered a meal, 4 of us had the carvery, the 2 meals were awful, a microwaved spag Bol and a mixed grill, the gammon wasn't gammon it was sliced ham. The carvery was awful, cold, turkey overcooked, beef undercooked, poor choice of veg and all cold, I gave my plate to the waitress as it was to cold. Will never eat here again, word of advice . KEEP WELL AWAY! Unless u like poor service, cold food and to wait over an hour for your food lol.

Appalling! We were a party of 16, there for Diamond Wedding celebrations. We had arranged seating in the conservatory, they decided to plonk us elsewhere. After getting them to change that, the food was terrible. One of our party was left without a starter for ages, it arrived after many had finished theirs. Soup was cold as were breaded mushrooms. We all then had carvery and wished we had'nt, there was beef (overcooked) and pork (Belly Pork) Yuk! Vegetables were cold and whole thing quite tasteless. Sweets also very poor. We had also ordered wine a few days before and they said they didnt know anything about it as that person was off duty that night so we ended up with warm white wine. We will never go there again!
