Hello, I'm from Poland, and I'm writing the M.A. thesis about garden cities, one of which we have in Poland. If anyone would be so kind to write anything about the story of Welwyn Garden Cities or maybe about Letchworth, I will be very gratefull.

Have a look at these websites:
http://www.letchworthgardencity.net
The Welwyn Site appears to have shut but Letchworth was the first garden city anyway.
Letchworth Garden City is the worlds first garden city and began in 1903 by Ebeneezer Howard (who later created Welwyn). The town today is still thriving on th esame principles and is a delightful place to live. Try lgchf.com for information on the heritage foundation that was created to keep the garden city in line with its original principles.
Here's a link to some information re Welwyn Garden City - in my humble opinion the best of the lot! (at least in the UK). Good luck with your thesis. If you need any other info don't hesitate to contact me again through this forum.
