Places to visit from La Faience near Clermont l'Herault

We are staying in self catering accomodation here for 9 days early next month - its a new area for us and would appreciate any advice on places to visit. We lovely natural beauty, Abbeys, lovely villages, wildlife and also good bakeries lol! Its nice to get by the sea but we are not lounge on a beach people but avid photographers. Places must be car accessible as I have a Blue Badge and my walking is limited and slow so I often find somewhere to relax and let my husband vanish off for a while on his own. Also can anyone suggest a good supermarket to stock up as we travel down, any in Clermont l'Herault for example. Thank you.

We spent two weeks in a gite at Lieuran Cabrieres near Clermont in 2014. Here is the link to my report on our trip. Just click on the Herault section and you can see what we did.

There is a large HyperU in town on the southern side [ enter off the main road in to town ] and an Intermarche slightly out of town on the road to Canet also on the southern side. From memory, neither were open on Sunday but that could have changed in two years. There is a large market in town on Wednesday mornings and plenty of small shops such as boulangeries. I cannot help with restaurants as we did not eat at any restaurants there.

Enjoy your stay. It is a lovely area. I know there is a lot we did not see.
