We are coming to Bray for 3 nights at the end of September 2017. We are looking for a quiet room that looks at the Irish Sea or is very close. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Have you a reason you are staying in Bray particularly?

Far nicer seaside towns along the coast.

Try the Esplanade hotel, it's on the seafront.

Another vote for The Esplanade, the last of the beautiful Victorian hotels that graced the seafront in my youth.

Thank you all for your help! Sounds like it will be the Esplanade.

Hello - considering staying in Bray next month but I saw your response to this question. What other seaside towns would you recommend other than Bray for a couple of days? Don't want to drive too far out - ideally a couple hours from Dublin.

Thank you!

@happycamper - a couple of hours will almost put you on the west coast along The Wild Atlantic Way.

Sligo is about a 2hr 45 min drive from Dublin - as is Galway. Lots of options if driving that much.

On the east coast nearer Dublin you could also consider Skerries, Malahide and Howth - all small Dublin suburban coastal towns. Further down the east coast Dunmore East

Is popular as well.
