Your question is posted in Arcos forum.

Does this mean that you will be planning a trip to Arcos for your day in Cadiz port ? If so then you will have a nice time. Arcos is one of the towns in Cadiz Province that features some typical 'pueblos blancos' views especially the old town that historically had a large Moorish settlement and still retains some old remnants like the castle and parts of the old walls (although you need to search for them !).

The old town requires some walking uphill but taken gently you have the Parador hotel at the top which is not a bad venue for something to eat. There are other bars and restaurants in Arcos. It is possible to take the "COMES" bus from Cadiz via Jerez to Arcos at 09.00 as this should arrive into Arcos by 10.20 and leaves time for a good exploratory day. Returning to Cadiz can be done on "Comes" but one bus leaves at 12.55 which may mean you do not have enough time in Arcos.

Look at bus schedule:

There are other ways of returning to Cadiz depending on your own schedule.
