EDR: English electrical items

Can anyone tell me if English electrical items work OK in Mexico - speakers, charging MP3 players.

Yes as long as you take a travel adaptor with you. The only item you may have a problem with are hair straighteners unless they are duel voltage.

Charging items such as phones, MP3 players, laptops, etc is not a problem - it can just take a little longer

Thanks flipflop man. We go 2 weeks today, I seem to spend hours reading all the comments - is it easy to get to Cozomel without joining an organised trip? We are happy to catch buses, boats on our own!

Yes, you can just go across on the ferry. If you message the likes of Frank the Destinations Expert I am sure he will be able to give you an idea of times and price

Enjoy
