Accommodation for 3 females

We are friends with one being in her seventies and two in fifties and are after accommodation in either Sydney CBD, Circular Quay or Darling Harbour area. It would have to be somewhere near a monorail at least, not too noisy a location and near eateries. The other problem we have is that the older lady doesnt sleep in a bed but in a recliner as she has serious back issues - not asking for much are we. We are from North Qld and are not all that familiar with Sydney city.

If anyone can at least give me some suggestions as to best places to stay, I can phone them about the recliner

What is your budget range per night? Would you be after a hotel room that can fit all of you in the one room, or would you be after a two bedroom apartment (or something like that)?

I'd perhaps consider an apartment, simply because they are more spacious than your average hotel room.

Good luck with your planning and have a GREAT time in Sydney! :)

Either would suffice. I was thinking round $250 p/n Is that an average price or should we be looking at more

I have never looked into recliners but I suspect it may be hard to find a place that has one. Perhaps you should look at hiring a recliner from some medical appliance place (I assume there are such things).

I am reeling at how high the prices were that came up at a couple of places I looked up a few days in December. When is your trip and for how long? You might be better looking for something around the Chinatown area

We are going for 5 nights from 17th February. I have found a couple of places Metro Hotel in Pitt Street and Marque Hotel in George Street (I think)

What's the view on these?
