Catch the train it's cheaper for further details www.translink.com.au

If needed catch a taxi or bus to the train station.

Taxi prices have gone up since 2009!

If you are going to get a train, make sure to get a Go-Card. You can buy them from the train station, and will save you $5-$10 per person on the return trip. You can also get a refund on the $5 deposit + any balance under $50. They are also very useful for getting around the City.

There is a free shuttle bus which runs to the city after the event, not sure if there are shuttles to the event. You can travel by train (change trains at Central Station to get to Doomben).

Also check out http://translink.com.au/ which may assist with scheduling your travel times.
