Melbourne to Phillip Island ?

We are 2 families of 2 adults and 2 kids vsiting Melbourne for 5 days in Dec. Firstly please help to let us know if below day trip from Melbourne is too rushed or manageable . Secondly better cost wise to hire a car or day tour with reputed operator(plan to buy 3 parks ticket )

Start with Gurdies Boutique Winery to experience and sample wine and cheese . In Phillip Island see Churchill Island Park, Koala Conservation Centre , Chocolate Factory, followed by Nobbies and end with Penguin parade .

Hi Shanghai, i am not sure what is most cost efficient depends on what prices you have been given! If you wanted to do all below it might be better to go with a travel operator? It does seem like a busy schedule but it is managable. I have not been to that winery but the chocolate factory is ok (nothing exciting so you won't spend long), Churchill Island is good as are the koalas and the nobbies is worth a visit too. you will love the penguin parade its lovely and at night so that how you can fit it all in
