Tram or hoho bus?

Hi all TA's! Will have one full day in CHC before flying home the following morning and was wondering which is the better way of taking in the "sights" old and new. We wont have a car anymore so wld the hoho bus show us more places?

Yes, the heritage tram follows a very short loop around the inner city, taking about 1 hr if you stay on it for the full loop. You could walk this loop in pretty much the same time!

The shorter Ho-ho bus route includes Mona Vale & Riccarton House, which are beautiful old gardens about 10-15 min by car/bus from downtown CHC. Not sure where else, but possibly the Antarctic Centre. The long route goes out beyond the airport to WillowBank Wildlife Park (Kiwi, kea etc as well as a petting farm), and Orana Park, a small “open” zoo with great giraffes, orang-utan usual kiwi enclosure, walk through aviary etc.
