Coming to Prague with my wife for the first time, What would be different options of reaching Park Inn hotel from the airport. Many thanks for your suggestions.
by chance did you review their website? the info/suggestion is there.
Hotel via Public Transport:
From airport, take bus 119 to Dejvicka, then Metro A to Staromestska.
From Staromestska (Charles Bridge) take tram 17 to Vyton.
Hotel is located 100 metres from the tram stop.Edited: 06 April 2011, 03:47
Try this. http://www.prague-airport-shuttle.com/
It beats the heck out of hauling your luggage on public transportation.
Much more convenient prebooking a taxi/shuttle than taking apublic transport - the cost is not huge - less than £20
If you don't mind carrying your luggage I would suggest public transport. The price of a ticket from the airport to your hotel is CZK 26 (less than £1) per person and the public transport is fast and reliable.
Thank you for your suggestions
You should treat your wife really, what's £20 in the scheme of things:)
£20 is the price for a good dinner for two. I rather use the money that way...
I wouldn't ....£10 per person is really not that much - would get you hardly sausage and mash in the UK pub.....I had a lovely fried cheese plus all the trimmings plus wine just outside Prague last week and that cost me £10....OK hospoda but nothing special.
But I know what you mean....:)
Well, maybe in UK but in Prague for CZK 280 (£10) you easilly get a quality meal with two beers in an good average restaurant (not a pub). I am local, so I know :-). Never mind, the question was about transport. Let the asker decide :-).
Just back from a stay at the Park Inn. I would suggest getting a 24 hour travel pass . We bought ours at the airport kiosk, picked up a transportaion map and followed the instructions given on hotel website.
The hotel itself is fantastic but a little out of the main tourist areas, so you can use your travel pass to get back to the tourist sites once you have dumped your bags.
