double vs. two singles

Hello....I'm looking to book a room in Prague (possibly the Best Western)...and it says room choices are single , two singles or double. What would be the difference between two singles and a double....most of the pictures look like a double is just two singles pushed together.

1. Re: double vs. two singles

Traditionally, Czech beds are two single mattresses within one bed frame, most also use two single duvets rather than a double one.Much better for sleeping.

The cheaper hotels would just use two single beds pushed together, hopefully secured so they don't split:)

So it depends on your preference - do you want single beds or a double.
