DH heading to Poland this summer. He will mostly use credit cards while there but will need a bit of cash for a taxi to and from the airport to downtown. For the small amount of cash he will need the exchange rate isn't significant.
His plan is to use an ATM card and as a back up use dollars at a currency exchange if his card doesn't work at the airport ATM machine. Does this sound like a good plan? (To get cash in advance of trip, our bank would charge $20 fee to get $100 worth of Zlotys...way too high)
