Why not just drive to Napa and do a little wine tasting/have lunch before you check into your AirB&B?

Or take a ride up and down the valley to get a sense of it. It is 29 miles long and quite pretty. In which town is your airbnb?

Or drive to the historic town of Sonoma, which is only half an hour from Napa, and explore. It is charming, built around an 11 acre Plaza during the Mexican occupation of the early 1800's. There are boutiques and shops around the Plaza, and wine tasting of course. It anchors the 18 miles long Sonoma Valley, which parallels the Napa Valley over the mountains whose name I can never spell. You may have time to drive up Sonoma Valley for a bit before going to Napa.

I don't think you have time for this, but Puter's put together a lovely day trip along the coast into wine country: https:/…Day.Trip.North.html

Or visit SF en route? Lunch in Sausalito? Go via Muir Woods (make a parking reservation)?

But really, unless you're spending 4-5 days in the Napa area, just go and start exploring there. There's not much along the way that's 'better'.
