Me and my boyfriend (early 20s) have hired a car and we are staying in Hollywood , we have one more day left with the car and are looking for recomendations of where to go/ what to see :) the first day we had the car we went to manhattan beach then hermosa and redondo, then today we went to Malibu which was great. However we are a little stuck for tomorrow as there’s so much choice we are wondering what’s really worth it :) thanks any help appreciated!

Did you go to Santa Monica, Venice, Marina del Rey?

Sounds like you saw enough of the beach and coast, try going a little inland.

The Pasadena area is great. Perhaps the Huntington Library and then Descanso Gardens which are relatively close to Pasadena.

I can never have enough beach or coast, never! Laguna Beach is a lovely beach town in Orange County. Go by way of Rancho Palos Verdes if you want a pretty drive:

Drive down Sunset to the coast then down to Santa Monica and Venice.

Venice is nice--maybe head to Abbot Kinney if you want to be able to park and walk and see lots of shops, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, people-watching.

If you want to explore the east side, there's sprawling Griffith Park for hiking or reading under trees, Trails Cafe is a really charming cafe in the park, surrounded by trees, easy walking distance up to Griffith Observatory from there; Self Realization Fellowship Center in Mount Washington for gardens and meditating; Los Feliz neighborhood (Vermont or Hillhurst streets, between Los Feliz blvd and Sunset) for parking and walking around to see local color, bookstores, a mini movie theater, amazing ice cream, boutiques (Jen's ice cream and Alcove Cafe and Skylight Books); similarly, Silverlake is walkable and has tons of places to eat (3700 Sunset blvd area).

You could do the park, then head to one of the neighborhoods and walk around, then go see an Upright Citizen's Brigade show on nearby Franklin Ave. it's inexpensive, totally fun and with it. Some great eats for dinner/drinks on that same street, too! Hope you enjoy and glad you're exploring outside of Hollywood!
