Staying in Estes Colorado on a budget help please

I am trying to meet up with my son to fly fish in Estes Park in Aug this year. We are trying to go on a budget but this area is a little pricey.

Have been looking on airbnb for any rooms, but I see they are at least $100 per night. Does anyone know of a place to look for any other options? We would like to keep it under $75 per night.

Thanks in advance.

In the Estes Park area in August, lodging under $100 will be sketchy at best. Have you considered camping for part of the trip? You could also shoot for a lodge room (kind of like a dormitory) at the YMCA of the Rockies. Otherwise I’d keep combing VRBO and AirBNB for lodging perhaps further outside Estes.

Oh and if you’re looking to fly fish, there some great fishing in Wild Basin at the south end of the park, so you might try looking for lodging near Allenspark.

under $100 in Estes in summer probably isn't going to happen unless you get lucky. Maybe somewhere like Longmont which is a drive from the Park 45 mins to an hour. But under $100 anywhere in the popular parts of Colorado is pretty rare in summer for hotels except for some really lower end places.

If you can get a room for 100.00 that would be a great bargain in summer in Estes Park.. If the goal is fly fishing there are better, cheaper locations.
