Have been to Hawaii 3 times but never tried a luau. Should I go to one? If so, which one is the best?

I think they are fun to do at least once. Where are you staying? I typically like to keep it somewhat close to where I am staying. Having that said, I enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau and still hear good things about it.

I like the idea of going to one that is close to you. In 2019, we stayed at the always awesome MKV. So we walked maybe four minutes to the Luau at next door Royal Lahaina Resort. It may not be "the best", but we liked it . I also like have a few more adult beverages than I normally drink and only have to walk four minutes to our condo.

Been going to Maui for over 30 years never been to one

Just don’t have any interest and find the prices out of line for what you get

Good if you like a lot of free drinks

Suggest checking back with the OLL as there are cancellations. I've read of several last minute spaces opening up.

Good Luck.

I love going to a luau. I've been to 7 different ones on 3 different islands. Get on a wait list for the Old Lahaina Luau. Although not a luau, in the "traditional" sense, the Feast at LeLe comes highly recommended. The menus isn't to my liking so I haven't been to this one.

For a luau at an hotel take a look at the Drums of the Pacific at the Hyatt in Kaanapali.

We did OLL on our first trip. Once was enough. It was fine, food was fine, drinks were fine.

Our family (reunion trip) went to Old Lahaina Luau. Everyone enjoyed it. Probably not something I'd seek out again on Maui, but really glad I went once. It was an amazing evening.
