Restaurant Daffy have real Moroccan cuisine?

Searching for a restaurant to try real Moroccan cuisine Restaurant Daffy pops up... I read the most recent reviews and seems the place we want for one dinner outside the Resort to try Moroccan cuisine.

Is it a good option?

Also, is it on walking distance from Les Almohades Beach Resort? If so, safe to make the path at night?

Many Thanks in advance.

Restaurant Daffy would be a good option to try Moroccan dishes.

Yes, it is within walking distance and yes, it would be safe to walk back at night.

Talborjt district is full of real Moroccan cuisine. Hence, it is popular with the locals diners. Try Ibtissam restaurant one of my favourite. It is also far cheaper than those on the touristique zone.

Talborjt is about 30 minutes walks depending on your pace. Alternatively, it is only 15 dirhams 5 minutes ride by the small red taxi.

Cheers

Professor_Sparrow, Thanks for the fast reply and also by the information and the route.

cas11, Is this the place you recommend? https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Revie…

If so, the price of the small red taxi is worth the ride... Advise please: if we take the taxi it's better to give the name of the restaurant or the street adress? Or both?

In both restaurants it's better to pay in cash right? No credit card...

Cash is always the preferred option in Agadir, particularly in small stores and restaurants.

Providing the address for Café Restaurant Ibtissam (Place Tamri, Talborjt) should suffice and if the driver is not sure, just ask him for Cinéma Sahara (everyone knows this) as this and a number of restaurants are located in the same small square.

Yes PAML,

Yes that is the restaurant. As our friend Professor Sparrow said cash is the preferred way of paying as we are not talking about hundreds of Dirhams.

Agadir taxi drivers are very familiar with the town, you should have no problem getting to the restaurant Just make sure they display the meter so you don’t get over charged.

May I also add, that most of hotel, including yours, do organise a Moroccan themed night with local musicians & dancer, and also with an authentic Moroccan food feast. Ask the reception at your hotel.

Alternatively, head for the Argana Hotel (Not very far from yours) and ask when they do theirs)

Enjoy
